The new DeVine custom Ukulele rosette and purfling
Well, Here it is! The new rosette and pufling is finally got the stamp of approval. Here is the process.
These rosettes are cut from white maple and inlayed into the top of the ukulele with some black and white purfling.
Then they are filled with a black epoxy and leveled down smooth.
The top is glued onto the body.
The maple purfling strips are bent to the same shape as the body.
Then they are inserted with 2 pieces of black/white purfling.
After they are in place they are filled with black epoxy.
And here is the finished product.
